Really since I came to Scotland to the Isle of Mull and was inspired by the landscape - mountains and lakes in one. What a privilege to be able to live here. Practically just picked up a brush and had a go and you should try too.

I always seem to be drawn to the light and the contrast between light and shadow, with which we are blessed by in Scotland. My mixed media at work is inspired by the shapes and textures found in nature.

My images are filled with light and awe for nature. I want to inspire others to start creating and find the same feeling of happiness and joy in their lives. I believe art should be affordable for everyone.

Who are your biggest influences?

My dear husband - worldwide known artist Ronnie Leckie.

Which current art do you think is having an impact in the world right now?

Children's climate change art.

What difference has working with SDX made to your business?

Helped my artwork to be recognised in a wider public and to make connections with other artists and makers. Travel to the city provided a platform for city inspired work also.
