Botanist & Leopard - sumptuously scented soy candles, hand poured in Edinburgh.
Follow Botanist & Leopard through their adventures in fragrance. From sun soaked floral clearings, to the halcyon heights of the Himalayas, to luxuriously lavish libraries.

Explorer’s Library:

*Antique Sandalwood

*Wild Tobacco

Warm woods and leather with oriental oud, and spicy toasted tobacco.

A lofty library, the smell of antique woods, well worn leather, countless books filled with ancient knowledge. A slight linger of pipe tobacco around the flickering fire; igniting the impulse to adventure anew…

The intrepid adventurers’ lair, a place of warmth to regroup and reflect. A candle capturing the scents of the space, the wooden wick softly crackling like there’s been a lit fireplace all along.

Our candles are hand poured with 280ml100% soy wax in our Edinburgh studio, infused with carefully composed fragrance oils with exceptional scent throw.
The burn time per candle is about 50 hours. We use wooden wicks which give off a scrumptious crackling sound when burning, to ensure they work properly, remove the charred wood end every time before lighting the candle. Otherwise the candle might not burn properly or could extinguish itself.

When lighting your Botanist & Leopard candle for the first time, allow it to burn until the top layer of wax is completely melted and reaches the side of the container. This will prevent tunnelling and give your candle the longest life.

Avoid burning your candle for longer than 3 to 4 hours at a time to avoid overheating of the container and alllow for the wax to solidify before lighting anew.

Never leave a burning candle unattended and/or close to flammable items such as curtains etc.
