This boho statement necklace is made with copper offcuts, lead-free enamel, and reclaimed sari silk.
Each pendant is hand pierced from copper offcuts, then coated with multiple layers of vitreous enamel and fired in a kiln.
The pendant measures 8.5 x 5 cm
The silk can be shortened by untying the knot and re-tying at your preferred length.
A gorgeous, but simple statement piece.
The earrings are also made with copper offcuts and glass enamel. The earwires are made with recycled silver. They have a 4 cm drop and measure 2 cm in width.
Jewellery care - Enamel is glass, so take care not to drop your jewellery and store it in a safe place when not in use.
Please note: Earrings not hallmarked as they are less than the legally required weight for hallmarking
J Aubrey Jewellery is an environmentally friendly and ethically conscious brand, by jewellery designer Stacy Carmichael.
Using traditional processes focusing on sustainability, using recycled silver, as well as found and reclaimed items such as sea glass, ethically sourced stones, and eco-friendly lead-free enamels.
With packaging made with recycled materials, Stacy ensures she lessens the impact of her studio by reducing the use of chemicals and using non-toxic alternatives when possible.
Jewellery making can be a dirty business, but by being conscientious, the environmental impact can be dramatically reduced. It’s an ongoing process that Stacy re-evaluates on a regular basis.
Organic, minimalist pieces are influenced by her love of nature, all things green, and the colours and contours of the natural environment. The effects of the elements on man-made objects on the coast of Scotland inspired the Corrodere Collection. She loves a patina!
The name J. Aubrey Jewellery was inspired by Stacy’s grandfather, James Aubrey. He was an imposing, but loving figure that left a huge impression on her even 20 years after his passing.
