These handmade earrings have used the ancient Korean technique of keum boo to create the gorgeous appearance. Keum boo is an ancient Korean technique of applying gold foil to silver.

I have handmade them from sterling silver which has been reticulated to produce an uneven surface. Gold foil is applied to the silver and a patina added to darken the silver and create a beautiful contrast with the gold.

These would make a wonderful gift and they will be delivered gift wrapped. A smaller pair of keum boo earrings is also available and a keum boo necklace.
